This might be the best airport lounge we’ve found… free internet! Not much to say about Poland other than the view from the window says FLAT and GREEN. The view of Warsaw is prettier than I expected. From the 85% destruction on the last go-around, they rebuilt it rather nicely and it still has a historic look to it.
Yawn! Dang, when you get up too early to believe coffee will fix you right up, you know that the travel dieties are feeling snubbed. If only they would lay off hunting down my eyes and turning them into something found in a wool mill, I may get over the fact that we woke up at 2:30am for this flight.
Almost back to the U.S. … we just viewed a hotdog wrapped in undercooked bacon that was part of the breakfast buffet at the airport, and Derrell was served a side dish of cauliflower?! with his morning quiche (smoked salmon and spinach to his dismay) on the flight from Athens at 4:30am … if we survive the airplane food, we’ll kiss the first burrito stand worker holding out hot sauce that we see!
