Just more of the same.. cruising San Francisco dining in jeans:
Naan N’ Curry - fantastic Indian in a dive of a cafe in the Tenderloin
Mykonos Greek - it looked like Greek food but it was like eating Mexican food in Helsinki, enough said
Borobudur - Indonesian in the Tenderloin, it was a stretch eating a spicy hard-boiled egg layered under carmalized onions and red peppers, then following it up with salted fish and peanuts, all said, it was probably too much of a stretch
Habana - semi-upscale Cuban, a noisy bustling place on Polk that does a California interpretation of Cuban
Slow Club - an industrial (”hip”?) place that is good when you are didn’t think about reservations anywhere in Potrero Hill area and are in the mood for California (a.k.a. grilled eggplant)
Town’s End & Bakery - breakfast in style starting with a basket of 4 different types of homemade bread, it almost makes us breakfast converts
We checked out the Red Bull Flugtag. An extremely odd event to say the least. It consists of teams of adults willingly flinging, leaping or catapulting themselves off of a pier. Sane? You make the call:
